      • Check-in time is after 15:00. If you arrive earlier, you can leave your baggage at the reception.

      • Early check-in or late check-out is subject to availability and unlikely on high season (may until september)

      • No, it's only subject to availability
  2. Payment and Cancellation Policy:

    • What are the accepted payment methods?
      • Cash, Transfer, VISA or Mastercard (American Express is not valid)
    • What is the cancellation policy?
      • October - April: Free cancelation up to 7 days before check-in
      • April - September: Free cancelation up to 1 month before check-in
    • Are there any fees for cancelling a reservation?
      • Cancelling before the mentioned dates has no cost. Cancelling after the dates incurs a cost of 50% from 30 days to 7 days prior to check-in (high season) and 100% within 7 days prior to check-in.

      • AC is included, a flat TV with cable, Towels, Shampoo and body wash and hairdryer.
    • Is there a hairdryer, iron, or ironing board available?
    • Are toiletries provided in the bathroom?

    • Is parking available at the hostel?
      • Yes, we have a private park in front of the hostel.
    • Is there a fee for parking?
      • No, parking is free for our customers

      • A continental-style breakfast is included with every room rate.
    • What type of breakfast is served?
      • It's a continental-style breakfast some or all of the following: bread, butter, jams, ham, marmelade, cheese, iogurt, fruit, cereals, coffee, tea (these items are subject to changes)
    • Are there options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?
      • If a guest has dietary restrictions or allergies we can provide with alternatives, provided that the guest informs us beforehand.

      • Free Wi-fi is avialable through the hostel
    • How can guests connect to the Wi-Fi network?
      • The network and password information are available at the reception and on the card holders supplied with the room card.

    • What are the must-see attractions nearby?
      • We are very Central and a quick drive to the highway, from here you can for example:
        • 10 min to Lagoa do Fogo
        • 20 min to Gorreana Factory
        • 30 min to Furnas
    • Can the hostel assist with booking activities or tours?
      • The hostel can assist with booking activities or tours with our local partners. Just ask the reception, and we will help you out in any way possible.
  8. Transportation:

    • Is public transportation easily accessible from the hostel?
      • We are located on one of the main roads in Lagoa, and guests can catch buses less than 200m/650ft from the hostel.
    • Are there bike rentals or car rental services nearby?
      • You can talk to us at the reception, and we will contact our partners for rentals. They can also provide a shuttle service to the vehicle.
    • Does the hostel offer airport or local shuttle services?
      • No, but we can contact one of our local taxi drivers to assist you.
  9. Accessibility:

    • Is the hostel accessible for guests with mobility impairments?
      • Yes, our rooms in the ground floor can be acessed through the side entrance for people with mobility impairments.
    • Are there accessible rooms or facilities available?
      • We have a room that is equiped to be used by guests with mobility impairments.
    • Is there an elevator in the building?
      • There are no elevators on the hostel.

    • Are pets allowed at the hostel?
      • No, pets are not allowed at the hostel.
