This place is a must go in Lagoa, where the visitors can see all the process of the crockery and tiles. Its facilities produce crockery pieces predominantly made on the potter’s wheel and hand-made Wall tiles, using characteristic decorations where blue is the dominant colour.

If you visit Chá Gorreana, you will be able to freely see the plantations, as well as watch the entire tea process, from picking to packaging.
In Furnas, you can see a group of boilers steaming with the water in great boiling. They are visible from anywhere in town as they look like smoke. They are in fact vents of steam and other vapours from deep in the ground. Some are noisy and deep in the ground other just boiling on the surface. You can smell the sulphur and iron in the air.
Museu Regional Carlos Machado is located in the capital city of São Miguel, city of Ponta Delgada being the oldest museum of Azores.
